Who we are

RE.TE. is a non-religious association with a non-ideological approach aimed to combat poverty and fight for the rights for all citizens in the world. RE.TE. develops its cooperation projects in collaboration with organizations in the South and North of the world, working to make changes, to fight poverty, in favor of disadvantaged and vulnerable people.

In Nicaragua, the conditions of the families favor the spread of the phenomenon of child labor, especially in marginal urban areas, characterized by a high socio-economic vulnerability. The objective of the project is to improve access to the education of the workers children of Ciudad Sandino through the improvement of the local primary school and the sensitization and training of parents and teachers.

The activities will be:

  1. the rehabilitation of the elementary public school "4 de Abril"
  2. training for parents, community leaders and teachers on methodologies for identifying and monitoring children at risk and promoting rights.
  3. the organization of educational strengthening activities to combat early school leaving
  4. the promotion of initiatives for youth aggregation and right to play.
